Pecto

The platform

One 3D workspace for all project data.

Pecto is the viewer and analysis environment that brings a project’s geographic information together: from every source, with the right permissions, and within reach of your AI assistant.

Integrations

Connect everything. Copy nothing.

Pecto reads your data where it lives: in your portal, your database, at PDOK or the BRO. Nothing is copied or converted, and what changes at the source shows up in the workspace straight away. And the other way round: edits go back to your database, ArcGIS layer or own system.

ArcGIS Online and Enterprise

Browse your portal: your content, folders, groups and organisation. Every user signs in with their own account, or Pecto uses one service account securely for everyone. The portal item’s style, pop-ups and labels come along.

Open standards

WMS and WFS from any provider. Pecto reads the capabilities, you pick the layers. A click on the map gives real attributes, WMS included.

Your own database

A PostGIS database connected directly: tables become layers. Read-only by default. Where the administrator allows it, data can be written too, and every edit can be undone.

PostGISTLSRead and write

Open data, nothing to set up

Elevation from AHN2 to AHN6, CPTs and boreholes from the BRO, aerial photos, BGT and cadastral boundaries from PDOK. Outside the Netherlands a worldwide terrain, in Canada with NRCan’s 1 m lidar.

AHNBROPDOK

3D and your own files

Google’s photorealistic 3D tiles beneath your data. Drag a GeoJSON file or shapefile onto the map, or paste a service URL. What you add this way stays yours.

Your own systems

Project databases, design tools, object registers: through their API we bring them next to the map, live and with the same rights. There are already integrations with systems for requirements management and dike design.

Get in touch

AI assistant

Your AI assistant works along in Pecto

Ask in plain language: ‘put the pipelines in the workspace’, ‘make a report of these locations’. Your AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, works directly in Pecto, with your layers, your data and your permissions.

Place and style layers

Put them in folders, colour by value, pop-ups with Arcade that are tested on a real feature first.

Update data

Read, add, change and delete the rows of a PostGIS layer, when the administrator allows it.

Make reports

A PDF per location with aerial photo, ground level from the AHN, CPTs and boreholes from the BRO, and the features of your layers.

Analyse dikes

Elevation and settlement along a line, soil build-up from the BRO, and a dike’s characteristic lines derived from the AHN.

  • Sign-in with OAuth 2.1 and two-factor authentication
  • The assistant sees and may do exactly what you may
  • Every change as a plan first, only after your approval
  • Everything recorded and reversible

How to start

  1. 1
    Add Pecto

Once, in your AI assistant: Pecto’s address as a connector.

  2. 2
    Sign in

With your own Pecto account and two-factor authentication.

  3. 3
    Just ask

In plain language. You see what will happen first, and you approve it.

Features

Made for flood defences, infrastructure and the subsurface

The tools a project needs every day, in the same workspace as the data.

Everything in 3D

A 3D map with terrain from the AHN, buildings and Google’s photorealistic 3D tiles. Make the ground see-through and look beneath it: cables, pipes and subsurface at their real depth.

Cross-section

Draw a line and see the ground level from AHN2 to AHN6, with cables, pipes, structures and watercourses at their depth.

Settlement

Compare AHN generations along a line or as a map: centimetres per year, and where it sinks most.

Subsurface

CPTs and boreholes from the BRO or from GEF files appear in the profile by themselves, with an indicative geotechnical longitudinal section.

Dike profile

Values along the dike on the axis of its dike poles, with the chainage the asset manager knows: ‘DP 190 + 35 m’.

Sharing and rights

Invitations per workspace, roles and user groups per layer, sign-in with two-factor authentication. External parties only see what is meant for them.

Layers without technical knowledge

Layers in folders, with style, pop-ups and labels you set yourself. Changes wait as a draft until you save them.

Print and download

Maps on A4 or A3 with a legend, in 3D too. Every layer as GeoJSON or shapefile.
